Devon Waste Management Ltd is Devon’s largest independently-owned waste management company. We are leaders in the field of non-hazardous waste recovery, re-use and recycling, handling more waste than any other privately-owned provider in Devon through our contracts with both private and local government clients. The company was the waste management division of Devon County Council until it became a private company in 1998.

We operate under two brands. Devon Waste Management manages public sector contracts while Coastal Waste Recycling provides waste management solutions to a growing portfolio of business and residential clients. We operate two landfill sites at Torrington and Kennford, a recycling centre in North Devon and three transfer stations at Exeter, Crediton and Tavistock.
